Happy New Year 2013!!

Our family traditions for New Year's Eve are as follows:
1 - Clean the House (and get rid of at least 10 items per person....out with the old, in with the new!)
2 - Enjoy a delicious, simple Chinese dinner complete with Good Luck soup and fortune cookies
3 - Play a game
4 - Toast the New Year with some sparkling cider
5-  Snap a family picture with a sign naming the year
6 - Go to bed early

While it may not seem exciting to many, we prefer to start the New Year off right, well rested with a clean house.  This particular evening, The Mr. had to work, but we made sure to complete steps 1-5 with him before he left for work!

Normally I record what "fortune" each person receives in their fortune cookie, just for fun, to look back on what was predicted for our year, compared with what actually happened.  This year, un-fortune-ately (sorry, bad pun joke!) I can't seem to find where I've written those down. :(  Oh well - I guess that means this year, it's anybody's best guess! :)
