Ryan's Birthday

While in Oregon, we got to help our cousin Ryan celebrate his 8th birthday!  We started out with dinner at Taco Bell...yum! :)

I included all of these pictures because they crack me up!  I love how Ryan is always moving!
And how both other children are subconsciously trying to help him blow out the candles:
And how Abbie Wiggles can't keep their eyes off of the cake! Haha!

Then we had a great time at Safari Sam's, climbing, mini golfing, and more!

I believe it was Wiggles' first time 'golfing' - and it was hilarious!!

Micah, Abbie and Angel, all lined up to hit...
This is how Wiggles held her golf club every time.
The black lights made everything look so awesome!

Happy Birthday Ryan!  Thanks for sharing your special day with us!!!

Kah-Nee-Tah

While in Oregon, Grandma and Grandpa treated us to a little vacation to Kah-Nee-Tah, a warms springs resort and Native American Reservation with a water park, tee-pees for camping, and all sorts of fun things to do!
Our tee-pee.  For some reason, Ryan was grumpy, so everyone else decided to make grouchy faces to match. :)

 A little better:
Of course, what camping trip is complete without s'mores?!

And some popcorn over the fire!

Sleeping with cousins is guaranteed to be a good time, no matter where you are!  But the tee-pee made it extra-special!

The pajama-clad kids teaching Grandpa one of their favorite songs, "Go Bananas"

Nani is always good for a snuggle!

Of course, the highlight of the trip by far was the water park!  We especially enjoyed the water slides!

Here is Grandpa's entrance in the Cannon Ball Contest:
Wiggles enjoyed the 'Kiddie Slide'
Angel, taking a break from the hours of water fun.
 I love this sweet girl!

The slides:
Waiting in line to go down the slide:

Angel, at the bottom of the slide:
And here's Abbie coming down:

The Mr. hitting the water, and Grandpa in front, just coming up after the slide.

Grins loved the open slide but had to work up a LOT of courage to go down the tunnel slide (which was completely black inside.)  We all sat at the bottom waiting for him to come down.  We kept waiting and waiting and waiting.  I was starting to get quite nervous that something had happened to him - it took SO long!  Finally, after what seemed an eternity, we saw him, scooching his way down the slide on his bottom.  Apparently he was so afraid of going down fast that he sat up, slowed himself way down, and then had a hard time actually going and had to scoot the whole way down.  But he came out smiling and we were all relieved that he was OK!

Oops - a couple more pool pics.  This girl LOVED having her wonderful Aunt Abbie to play with!

And these guys loved climbing all over her!
Angel kept posing like this.  I'm not sure where she got it, but she reminds me of a Japanese tourist.  It was hilarious!

More climbing on Aunt Abbie!

This one cracks me up because it looks like Grins is strangling his cousin.  But he is just so happy to have someone willing to wrestle with him!
Another funny one - Grins seems to be pulling Ryan under water while Abbie and Angel are swimming by - and Wiggles is trying to catch up, but afraid to venture too far from the wall.  These kids swam for 2 days straight and still cried for more when it was time to go home!!

All in all, it was a fantastic trip, and I think it's safe to say everyone had a great time!
